Barry R. Rose has over 38 years experience in public practice, with a specialized knowledge and expertise in thoroughbred racehorses and real estate. As the Firm's Tax Director, Mr. Rose has provided tax and advisory services in all aspects of corporation taxation, including domestic and international taxation, and all phases of individual taxation matters, stressing current tax-strategy planning techniques, forward planning and extensive estate tax planning. Barry has appeared on numerous radio talk shows and has lectured extensively.

Barry's areas of concentration are in real estate, including business tax structure and planning, development, continuing operations, sales and exchanges of entities involved with office buildings, hotels, apartment complexes, single family and multi-family developments; charitable foundations; law firms; medical practices; and thoroughbred racing.

In 1965, Mr. Rose graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and continued at the University of Miami for a year of postgraduate work. He joined Mallah Furman in 1965 and in 1970 was admitted as a Stockholder and Director. In 1975, Barry was appointed Director of the Firm's Taxation Department and was appointed Vice President in 1979.

Barry's professional affiliations include memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami.
