Mallah, Furman and Company, P.A. is pleased to announce their newest shareholder, Benjamin D. Bohlmann.

Miami, FL —
Mr. Bohlmann, who served as the manager of the firm's tax department, joined the firm in 1994 and has worked in accounting since 1982. Since joining Mallah, Furman, Mr. Bohlmann has served clients, both foreign and domestic, in the areas of tax planning, compliance and problem solving. His expertise in cross-border business operations, particularly international, federal and state taxation, has contributed to his clients' success and to Mallah, Furman's.

Prior to joining Mallah, Furman, Mr. Bohlmann worked at KPMG Peat Marwick in Miami and at Price Waterhouse in Miami and Tokyo. His experience overseas gives Mr. Bohlmann particular skill and insight in managing financial and tax strategies for foreign investments in the U.S., from the start-up level to large, established U.S. subsidiaries of foreign-owned entities. He also advises U.S. businesses and investors on their out-bound ventures, helping them best manage the intricacies of operating in foreign business environments.

Mr. Bohlmann earned his bachelor's degree, Magna Cum Laude in economics at Tulane University and received his masters degree in taxation from Florida International University.

Among his many professional activities, Mr. Bohlmann serves as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Greater Miami Tax Institute and co-chairs the U.S. Taxation of Multinationals Discussion Group.
