Thoroughbred Times.com Florida HBPA elects five board members The Florida chapter of the Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association elected five board members and three alternates at its recent meeting. Representing the owners will be Robert Bakerman, Randy Mills, and Michael Sherman. Trainer representatives will be Emanuel Tortora and Ralph Ziadie. All five will serve three-year terms. Buddy Edwards, Manuel Estevez, and Barry Rose were elected to one-year terms as alternates. The board will begin the process of electing officers during its next meeting. © 2007, Mallah Furman.
