MALLAH, FURMAN ACCOUNTING FIRM NAMES DAVID SLOAN SHAREHOLDER
MIAMI, (October 9, 2003) - Mallah, Furman and Company, one of South Florida's leading independent accounting, tax and consulting firms, has announced that David Sloan has become a shareholder. Sloan, who joined Mallah Furman and Company in 1994, was most recently a Manager of the firm's tax department.
With over 25 years of experience, Sloan has served clients in the areas of taxation, audit, business valuations and litigation. Prior to joining Mallah, Furman in 1994, Sloan worked in New York at Kenneth Leventhal & Company and Price Waterhouse, among others.
Sloan earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from State University of New York at Buffalo. A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, he went on to receive his master of laws degree in taxation at New York University School of Law.
He serves as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Bar Association and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
