Mallah, Furman and Company Accounting Firm Names New Senior Associate
MIAMI (March 30, 2004) - Mallah, Furman and Company, one of South Florida's leading independent accounting, tax and consulting firms, announced that Miguel A. Augustin, CPA has joined the firm.
Augustin joined Mallah, Furman as a senior associate in the firm's accounting and auditing department, where he is responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements for both profit and not-for-profit entities. Augustin has more than seven years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as senior auditor for Sharpton, Brunson & Co. P.A.
During his career, Augustin has been active on the Board of Directors of the Advocate Program Inc., American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Black Accountants, Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honor Society.
Augustin graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1999 with a master's degree in business administration with concentration in finance.
