Mallah, Furman & Company CPAs Celebrate End of Tax Season By Helping Camillus House
MIAMI (April 22, 2004) - When the year's most taxing season for accountants came to an end, CPAs from Mallah, Furman and Company, visited Camillus House and delivered a truckload of hundreds of new towels, sheets, blankets, comforters and clothing to mark the culmination of the firm's second annual "Preparing, Sharing and Caring" program. The items were collected in giant boxes in the lobby of the accounting firm's Brickell Avenue office during the home stretch of tax season, from March 15 to April 15, as part of Mallah, Furman's strategy to foster a sense of balance during the grueling work days leading up to Tax Day. Mallah, Furman and Company has offices in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
In addition to a truckload of supplies, members of Mallah, Furman's staff served lunch to more than 400 people who receive assistance from the Camillus House.
"'Preparing, Sharing and Caring' is a perfect way to maintain our perspective on work, community and family while we work so hard during tax season," said Arthur Unger, shareholder with Mallah, Furman and Company. "Our entire staff got involved in the drive and pulled together to help the community during our busiest time of year."
