Unger lends a hand in Mount Sinai's planned giving effort
MIAMI (January, 2005) - When it comes to community service, Arthur S. Unger, C.P.A., a partner at Mallah Furman Certified Public Accountants and a Pillar member of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, is making great strides on behalf of Mount Sinai Medical Center. Arthur, whose office is located at 1001 Brickell Bay Drive, is a member of the Founders of Mount Sinai, the most time-honored philanthropic group within the hospital's Foundation. He also is a member of the Foundation's Planned Giving Committee and leads that group's marketing effort.
As part of his marketing duties, Arthur chairs the group's monthly tour program. "The tours of the medical center have led to increased funding for the foundation and have received a warm reception for those who have attended," he said. "Our goal is to educate the community at large of the tangible nature of their generous contributions by leading them through the facility and allowing them to touch and feel the impact of their donations as they see actual demonstrations of the new equipment in the hospital."
