Curt A. Rosner Joins Mallah Furman as a Director
MIAMI, Fla., September 12, 2006 - Mallah Furman, one of South Florida's leading accounting firms, has named Curt A. Rosner, CPA, as a director in the Miami office. Rosner brings nearly 30 years of experience to Mallah Furman, in the areas of accounting services, physician services, health care consulting, business valuations, income tax planning, litigation services and business consulting. Previously, he was at Bloom, Gettis, Habib, Silver, Terrone & Rosner, P.A.

Rosner is active in several community organizations, including the Health Care Committee of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Bet Shira Congregation - Immediate Past President and Member of Board of Directors. He also is a board member of the South Dade Branch of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and a committee member of Jewish Community Services.
Since 1992, Rosner has taught several seminars on "Financial Reporting in Health Care" to Barry University graduate students, "Medical Practices in Transition" to the Baptist Hospital Foundation, "Physician Consolidation, Valuation and Tax Considerations," presented to Florida Bar Health Care Section, and various other seminars for professional organizations. In 2003, he received the FICPA's Writing Excellence Award for his article entitled "Time to Be HIP(AA)."
Rosner is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Business Valuation section of the American Institute of CPA's (AICPA) He attained the prestigious designation of Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) through the AICPA in January, 2000.
Rosner earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1977.
