MIAMI, Fla., March 7, 2007 -- Curt A. Rosner, CPA, A.B.V. and Director of Mallah Furman, one
of Florida's leading accounting firms, was a guest speaker recently for Gibraltar Private Bank &
Trust's Probate Luncheon Series.
Rosner's presentation "Demystifying Valuations and a Case Law Update" began with an
overview of fundamental valuation concepts and principles and then led into a detailed
discussion of several key 2006 valuation tax cases. In reviewing the cases and their
implications, Rosner tied together the fundamental concepts and principles from the first part of
the presentation.
Rosner is a frequent speaker, educator and award-winning author. He brings nearly 30 years of
experience in the areas of accounting services, business valuations, income tax planning,
healthcare consulting, litigation services and business consulting.
He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of
Certified Public Accountants and Business Valuation section of the American Institute of CPA's
(AICPA) He attained the prestigious designation of Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV)
through the AICPA in January 2000. Rosner is a graduate of the University of Florida.
