Mallah Furman partners, associates, clients and friends pitched in together on Saturday and Sunday November 22 and 23 to assist the Historical Museum of South Florida produce its 2003 Harvest Festival. For the umpteenth year, the Firm sponsored the gyro sandwich booth. Partner Artie Unger pulled a double shift and stated, "I have no idea how many gyros we made. All I know is we never stopped and I was covered from head to foot in tzatziki sauce. I know it's for a good cause and all, but do you know how hard it is to get tzatziki out of your beard?"

"I've served on the Museum's Board and pressed many Mafco people into being gyro volunteers starting about 10 years ago," claims partner Benjamin Bohlmann. "It's gained this sort of weird momentum. We have a lot a laughs and its fun but you can't really explain why. Its just a gyro thing."

The final numbers are in (we are accountants, after all) and Team Mafco created well in excess of 1,500 sandwiches in four shifts over the two-day event.

The Harvest Festival is the Historical Museum's largest fund raising event of each year and Mallah Furman is proud of its long-term continuing relationship with the Museum.
